Economics, War and Politics
M Alan Roberts

Humans have always been at war with one another. Jealousy, greed, politics and all of those other cardinal sins always ensure that to be true. Since prehistoric men first ran into one another in Mesopotamia, the battles for control and superiority have ensued. With increasing technological fortitude, the wars waged grow more severe and the devastation of ramped death continues to demoralize the world and extinguish the very foundations of hope and decency.

The root of evil has a lot to do with money. I guess that someone is gaining power - gaining position - gaining unimaginable wealth from the hundreds of billions of tax dollars paid by the working class slobs of America. The prestigious and unerring republic US government seems to not give a single crap that the economy is crippled. George W. Bush said, on the national news the other night, that "This country is not in recession." Well, I'm not sure I understand what recession means I guess. I am going to look it up right now.

OK, I got it. Recession is the act of receding or withdrawing. In Economics, it's a period of contraction, sometimes limited in scope or duration.

I get it now. George W. Bush was not talking about what everyone listening thought he was addressing (how unusual). He must have meant that this country's military forces are not receding in their efforts to secure control over the second most voluminous oil reserves on the planet, after our good buddies in Saudi Arabia. He's so clever, that George.

It had or has nothing to do with Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). People, wake up! Watch a documentary! Take your pick; there are about a hundred of them blatantly exposing the outright lies of George W. Bush, Rice, Rumsfeld and about 50 other coconspirators. It is truly amazing how the government continues to pull off these huge lies and get away with them! I guess the plan is to keep people so busy trying to stay above the poverty level that they have no time to learn how to think or grow in any way. If they aren't at work, they must be in jail or prison for non-violent offenses.

There are billions of dollars of oil "going missing" every year in Iraq. "Going missing". That's how they phrase it. The spokespeople for the government claim that they really don't know if it's thievery, inaccurate production reports, sabotage, corrupt contractors, such as Halliburton, or what. They have no explanation. Gee whiz, George - I have a damn difficult time believing that!

Note: The costs of the war in Iraq, besides the more than 4000 American lives, that they report, and the untold numbers of Iraqi lives, they are human brothers too, you know, to the American taxpayers has now topped $200 billion. It grows by $200 million every day. Those are the direct costs. The total economic impact is estimated to be over $2 trillion. Hmm. I guess that's okay because Big-G says the country is not in recession. Whew -- I feel better now.

I don't know what it will take to find any peace on the planet. It will probably never be - as it never has been. Every time someone wholesome surfaces, they are persecuted, prosecuted and/or executed. The time to wake up and take action has long passed. If you try to rise up or even withdraw (Waco), you will be crushed out. The future is hard to believe in when we as the conglomeration human race continue to allow ourselves to be blinded by the unrighteous.

Which countries made up that Axis of Evil again? My mind is a blur. Well, it's off to work for me; I have a war to pay for you know.

M Alan Roberts is a radical thinker. He has a gimlet eye for injustice, much as did Frederich Engels, a century and a half before. Still, Roberts finds a way to write effective SEO copy. This suggests both sides of his brain, his mind, work equally well.
